The first St Duke's spirit encapsulated a dream. St Duke’s spirit encapsulated a desire to capture something real and to encapsulate the essence of our town and it's people.

What began with a friend's conversation and a small scale still in a shed has transformed into a thriving craft distillery. St Duke's craft and community spirit became known as the difference we sought to achieve.

Where Passion Meets Craft

In St Duke's craft distillery the founders have a great and deep love and respect for the craft of distillation. With a deep love and respect for the craft the founders turned to the great old-world traditions.

The distillation lessons and craft in the old world became the basis that we have now styled the St Duke's Standard. Every spirit etched promise and a statement of was crafted in preparation and respect.

Milestones That Shaped Our Journey

Year One: Our first spirit, an artisanal gin made with local botanicals, was released and quickly gained traction.

Year Three: After opening the doors to our tasting room, we welcomed visitors to experience our craft and share our story.

Year Five: St Duke’s distillery received its first regional award, not only for the quality of the spirits but also for the impact sustainable distilling made to the environment.

Today: St Duke’s is proud to be a local legacy. Our whiskey, gin, and vodka are a testament to the people, partnerships, and passion behind every spirit.

From the first sip, we was always sure that great spirits brings people together. From the local farmers and artists, to the charity events and live music nights, community was always the cornerstone.

There is still so much to do and see. For the foreseeable future, the focus will still be rooted in growing the craft distilling business as a pioneer in the niche. Adding sustainably sourced ingredients to our barrel changes and expanding our barrel aged spirit offerings will give more people the opportunity to experience the essence of St Dukes.

While spirits age gracefully in our barrels, the St Dukes essence gets even more soul.
